In 2000, the city of Kisangani, in the DR Congo, was the scene of clashes between two Congolese rebel groups allied with Uganda and Rwanda.
Since then, the “Six-Day War Victims’ Association” has been fighting for the recognition of this conflict and demanding compensation for the damage suffered.
Tired of the unsuccessful pleas that have been dragged on for years, the members of the Association have finally decided to take their fate into their own hands: after a long journey on the Congo River, they will give voice to their claims in Kinshasa, at the heart of the country’s institutions.
